Whenever your body ails you, first of all, love it. Ask, “What is the message? What do I need to understand? What are you trying to show me?" That is the first response that we would suggest. The next response, if you wish to support the body, is to take a look and see if you can find a natural way to assist the body with the imbalance. But be aware that the imbalance is created primarily between your ears with your thoughts and your repressed emotions. The mind creates the imbalance and the body reflects it. Your innate intelligence reflects to you through your body, your thoughts, and your emotions. It creates imbalance in your body to show the thoughts and your emotions that you are ignoring.
Some of these things build up slowly throughout the life, and at a certain point, as the body gets older because of the way you treated it, it starts to get weaker and then these imbalances come and manifest in some way. As you start to recognize that the body is a reflection, slowly, slowly, the body won't have to reflect back to you the thoughts and the emotions that you have been repressing. And so in this process of becoming more aware, sometimes you have to bring up to the surface and release things that happened early on in life. These may be things you have forgotten, like the first love affair that you were so angry about when it finished and you repressed that anger. Even if it happened to you at 16 they [the repressed emotions] can affect your body when you are 60 or 70 because it has been there for so long.
